HOW IS FANTASY LINKED TO EUROPE?
While highly creative in the mythological world of fiction the world of fantasy has been influenced by a number of sources that come from europes history, religions, beliefs, as well as its own literature, poetry, and mythologies. The most influential would be the Middle English Language and literature from titles like "Beowulf" or historical times of Anglo-Saxons, and experiences of contemporary warfare. When it is so nicely put together it would be hard to see them as separate influences, but together they make something complex and exciting. European Medieval History INSPIRATION FOR THE MIDDLE AGES While many stories are set in the medieval world there are just as many that are set in other time periods, but the concept of medieval ideas follows through to all these different timelines to tell a tale of its own time. This consistency brings the ideas of swords, knights, kings, and castles that are rich in the history of the middle ages. Places that people tend to think are places to learn more interesting stories are Germany, France, Greece, Ireland, Scotland, and Britain. As people read those areas there are old groups of people that they will discover that will bring them closer to history then they ever thought they would be than dreaming up a few folklore tales. MAKES LEARNING LATIN FUN Latin is still taught in academic schools that speak english for the "Latin Roots" that still exist in modern day words. When people start studying Latin to the next level it is usually for Legal, Medical or Scientific terminology that brings the dead language back to life. Many Biblione slang words start out as Latin and slowly transform with mergers of existing English words for a name that is identified. Latin also tends to start becoming fun when the world of words becomes symbolic through its labeled nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives, to create many ways of explaining what is from the mind. When spoken properly, Latin studying can be beneficial by clear pronunciation, so even the small parts of Latin make things a more enjoyable experience.
