While other places of such rich culture are placed as just tourist destinations, but in the case of this site there will be opportunity to check out all the ins and outs about what its like to be immersed in the state of Hawaii.

The Hawaiian Islands (Hawaiian: Mokupuni o Hawai‘i), are an island chain that is made up of eight major islands. Kauai (1), Niihau (2), Oahu (3), Maui (4), Lanai (5), Molokai (6), Kahoolawa (7), Big Island (8). Formerly the known to Europeans and Americans as the "Sandwich Islands" it was later on named "Hawaii". |
Etymology (term history)
The name of Hawaii can be traced from a legendary figure in Hawaiian mythology known as Hawaiiloa which literally means Long Hawaii. He is said to have been the one who had discovered the islands when they were first settled on. The State of Hawaii derives its name from the Big Island of Hawaii which is simply called "Hawaii". The word for Hawaii comes from a similar Proto-Polynesian word that means place of the gods or homeland "Hawaiki". |
Hawaii Culture
Hawaii culture developed originally from the Polynesian Voyagers and then from the Native Hawaiians who created many of the pre-contact traditions. It is reflected in its rich language, music, art, theater, dance, film, cuisine and festivals. Local culture derives itself from the rich history. The culture continues to grow, change, and fight to stay relevant with younger generations. |
