Butter Mochi, a regional dish of Hawaii that is a dessert of mochiko flour, butter, coconut milk, and vanilla. Butter Mochi is served as squares, rounds, or small rectangles and is similar in flavor to Filipino Bibingka and Chinese Tang Yuan. There are many bakeries that have it regularly available as well as the grocery market and is sold by the pound, since many have a sweet tooth (hungry for sugary things) for these. It is slightly chewy, golden crusted, cake-like texture, and smooth taste.
